Pottsville, PA, – D.G. Yuengling & Son, Inc. is proud to announce a partnership
agreement with one of the leading seafood companies in the United States, Icelandic® USA, Inc.
Yuengling has partnered with Icelandic® to establish a line of Yuengling Lager beer battered haddock portions. Icelandic® will use this opportunity to pair these dinner selections with Yuengling products in the marketplace, completing the meal for consumers.
"Haddock is an extremely popular specie in certain parts of the country, especially Pennsylvania," stated Thomas Sherman, Vice President of Marketing for Icelandic®, "So it was a natural fit to add the popular Pottsville, Pennsylvania brewed Yuengling Lager to coat our portions from Iceland."
The line consists of four Yuengling Lager battered products each designed to fit a key part of a restaurant operators menu: 2 oz. portions for fish and chip baskets; a 4 oz. portion for sandwiches; a 6 oz. fillet for lunch or dinner entrees; and a huge 8 oz. fillet portion for big value platters.
