Yuengling Launches Official Blog

Pottsville, PA, September 2008 – D.G. Yuengling & Son, Inc., America’s Oldest Brewery, is pleased to announce that an official Yuengling blog has been created.

The blog is now live and linked to the company website at www.yuengling.com. This creates a forum for the brewery to interact more closely with consumers and share information.

“Our initial idea was to spread the word about our recent release of Lord Chesterfield Ale on draft,” stated Lou Romano, Marketing Manager. “But we’ve received such an overwhelming response that I quickly realized this has the potential to become a full-scale grassroots effort. Our brand was built on word-of-mouth marketing and this is just another means for consumers to discover and interact with our company in their own unique way.”
