Yuengling Announces New Look for Regional Favorites

Pottsville, PA, July 2005 - D.G. Yuengling & Son, Inc., America’s Oldest Brewery is proud to announce the release of a fresh new look for its Premium and Light 12 oz beer cans and suitcase containers. Both the can and suitcase container launched in Yuengling’s existing markets in July.

The Premium and Light cans will be given a bold, contemporary look, including a revitalized logo and new packaging graphics. “These brands have been a cornerstone in our local markets for many years. We felt it was important to utilize a bold new packaging design to increase shelf visibility and create awareness for the brands. The new design will provide us with opportunities to expand into our other markets that do not currently offer these brands,” states David A. Casinelli, COO.

The company plans to extend the new look to the remaining packages for both brands in the near future.

Contributing to this project - Adam D’Addario of D’Addario Design Associates of NYC, designed both packages and Ball Corporation of Broomfield, CO was responsible for the production of the cans.

Based in Pottsville, PA, D.G. Yuengling & Son, Inc., America's Oldest Brewery and 5th largest brewer in the U.S., is family owned and operated since 1829. Principal beer brands include Traditional Lager, Light Lager, Premium, Premium Light, Black and Tan, Dark Brewed Porter, and Lord Chesterfield Ale.
