Expansion excites wholesalers.

Wholesalers were excited at news of a larger supply of Yuengling beer. One of the brewery's wholesalers, Thomas P. Cianilli, vice president of sales and marketing for L&M Beverage, Philadelphia, stated, "At least we know we have a future, our house is a Yuengling house. So as Yuengling goes, we go."

More than 50 representatives gathered at the Valley Forge Convention Center Thursday morning to learn of plans for the new brewery. Many expressed thier excitement over Yuengling's new growth and continued success. Much of the success, many say is due to the Brewery's location in Pottsville and the large portfolio of brands manufactured by Yuengling. Many of the wholesalers present were pleased with plans for the new brewery, adding that many times with contract brewing, perception of the quality is compromised.

Most of the distributors did not express concern over growth management of the Yuengling product. Many have been doing this for the past year or so. Many say that the secret is keeping your customers satisfied and in stock by paying special attention to your business.

Some cite the high demand as a benefit for consumers as they are getting the freshest beer possible. Some consumers receive the product the day the beer left the brewery.
