Yuengling To Support First Responders & Local Community
As America’s Oldest Brewery, we’ve seen our fair share of ups and downs and uncertain times since 1829. From the Great Depression to Prohibition and World Wars, our brewery and this country have faced a great deal. And if we’ve learned anything from the generations that came before us, it’s that we have a responsibility to help those who have lifted us up for all these years.
PANDEMIc RELIEF EFFORTS
When the pandemic impacted our nation, Yuengling partnered with the Gary Sinise Foundation’s Emergency COVID-19 Combat Service dedicated campaign. Grants assisted volunteer organizations with limited resources, in purchasing personal protective equipment (PPE) and essential gear needed when answering COVID-19 service calls. Through the Gary Sinise Foundation’s Emergency COVID-19 Combat Service, financial assistance also helped healthcare professionals, service members, veterans, first responders, and their families impacted by the coronavirus.
Hospitality Assistance Response of Pennsylvania
As part of our COVID-19 relief efforts, Yuengling also places importance on helping communities and individuals within its home state of Pennsylvania. In partnership with the Pennsylvania Restaurant & Lodging Association (PRLA), Yuengling is a Founding Donor of the Hospitality Assistance Response of Pennsylvania (HARP) fund, which provided emergency funding to frontline employees of Pennsylvania’s restaurants and hotels, such as servers, waitstaff, and bartenders, who are experiencing significant hardships due to the abrupt closure of their on-premise businesses.
We also partnered with Yuengling brand ambassador and Phillies All-Star pitcher Aaron Nola to launch Cheers PA, a virtual celebrity fundraiser on PledgeIt and Cameo where fans donated to HARP for a chance to win signed memorabilia or once-in-a-lifetime experiences with their favorite Pennsylvania legends.

Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association
Yuengling partnered with the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association (FRLA) to support its charitable efforts and partnerships, including CORE, a nonprofit dedicated to serving food and beverage service employees and their families. Yuengling’s funding goes exclusively towards providing grants to Florida bartenders and waitstaff who have been medically diagnosed with COVID-19.
