PHILADELPHIA – January 13, 2026 – Phillies pitcher Aaron Nola, a longtime supporter of the Philadelphia community, will host his 2nd annual Charity Poker Tournament, presented by Yuengling, on April 16, 2026, from 5:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., in the CP Rankin Club at Citizens Bank Park, home of the Phillies.
This year’s tournament will benefit Philabundance, the largest food bank in the Greater Philadelphia region serving over 135,000 people each week, as well as Team RWB, a leading organization for veterans and service members seeking improved physical or mental health. In the past three years, Aaron, along with his wife, Hunter, donated over $650,000 to the veteran community and various other charitable organizations throughout Philadelphia.
In partnership with Yuengling and the Phillies, this special charity event will give fans the chance to go all-in at the table with Nola, his teammates, and other celebrity guests. In addition, attendees at Aaron Nola’s Charity Poker Tournament will enjoy cocktails, local bites, prizes, ballpark tours, on-field photo opportunities and more. There will also be special appearances by the Phillie Phanatic and Phillies Ballgirls; broadcaster Tom McCarthy will be the emcee for the evening.
“Hunter and I know the power of teamwork—and that’s why this event means so much. Giving back to the community that has always supported us is an honor,” said Nola. “By standing with Philabundance in their mission to drive hunger from our neighborhoods and partnering with Team RWB to enrich the lives of our veterans, we’re reminded of what true strength and service look like. When we come together for a purpose bigger than ourselves, lifting up the people who make our communities stronger, everybody wins.”
Beyond the excitement of the evening, the tournament’s impact extends far beyond the poker table, supporting organizations dedicated to strengthening the local community. That mission is reflected in the words of Philabundance CEO Loree D. Jones Brown and 6th generation and Chief Administration Officer at D.G. Yuengling & Son, Inc. Wendy Yuengling:
“Aaron Nola has always stood up for those of our neighbors who need hope and stability the most, and Philabundance is profoundly grateful for our strong partnership,” said Brown. “We’re also humbled to be in the company of Team RWB, an organization that is as committed to supporting veterans as we are to ending hunger for good, and generous sponsors such as the Phillies and Yuengling. Collaborations like these drive our whole community toward a brighter future.”
“Supporting Team RWB over the last few years and their mission to enrich the lives of America’s veterans is something our family and our brewery take to heart. Our partnership reflects more than sponsorship; it reflects our deep respect for those who have served and the communities that support them,” said Yuengling. “We’re equally proud to continue standing with Aaron Nola, whose passion for giving back brings people together. Joining Aaron, the Phillies, Team RWB and Philabundance this year at the 2nd Annual Charity Poker Tournament this April is an honor, and we look forward to celebrating and uplifting those in need in our community.”
Limited sponsorship and individual tables are available. For more information on how to become a part of this once-in-a-lifetime event and to help change the lives of those in the Philadelphia community, please visit nolapoker.com.
