The Oldest Brewery in America marks the nation’s milestone with a patriotic design celebrating American independence and supporting veterans through Team Red, White & Blue 

POTTSVILLE, Pa. (January 21, 2026) – D.G. Yuengling & Son, Inc., America’s Oldest Brewery, announced today the launch of its Limited-Edition 250th Anniversary Lager cans and packs to commemorate America’s Semiquincentennial in 2026. Featuring a patriotic red, white, and blue design, the packaging honors 250 years of American resilience and independence, while spotlighting Yuengling’s own 197-year history as a family-owned American brewery. 

The new look, available beginning January 2026 in 12-ounce 12-pack and 24-pack cans of Yuengling Traditional Lager across the brewery’s growing 30-state footprint, also highlights Yuengling’s continued partnership with Team Red, White & Blue (Team RWB), a nonprofit dedicated to enriching the lives of America’s veterans through health and wellness.

Founded in 1829, just 53 years after the Declaration of Independence, Yuengling remains a living symbol of American perseverance and entrepreneurship. The brewery has survived Prohibition, industrial revolutions, wars, and recessions, operating continuously for nearly two centuries while remaining independently family-owned. Today, Yuengling’s sixth generation, led by four daughters working alongside their father, continues the brand’s mission of “protecting the past while building what’s next.”

As part of Yuengling’s ongoing Stars & Stripes program, proceeds from the limited-edition 250th cans will help support Team RWB’s mission to foster health, wellness, and community among U.S. veterans. Since 2016, Yuengling has contributed over $500,000 to military-focused organizations through this initiative, including Team RWB, Operation Gratitude, and TAPS.
