In the Yuengling Kitchen with Celebrity Chef Kelsey Barnard Clark

Yuengling has remained a family-owned and operated brewery in Pottsville, Pennsylvania for six generations and nearly 200 years. Maintaining this fiercely independent spirit and continuing the success of the family business has always been a priority for me.

Fortunately, with the support of my family, I was still able to be involved in the business, while also pursuing my second passion: cooking. In 2011, I graduated from the Pennsylvania School of Culinary Arts, which ultimately allowed me to forge my own path alongside my sisters. Together, we are Yuengling’s 6th Generation, but we each have our own individual talents and perspectives. It’s that diversity that has helped us keep the brewery moving forward, bringing our fans exciting new products, events and announcements.

On behalf of my family, I’m thrilled to kick off 2020 by announcing our first-ever chef collaboration with celebrity chef Kelsey Barnard Clark. Hailing from the small town of Dothan, Alabama, Kelsey’s love for cooking started at an early age in the kitchen with her family. As America’s Oldest Brewery, we know a thing or two about family traditions. That’s why we’re so humbled to partner with Kelsey whose culinary expertise, deep family roots and love for Yuengling make her the perfect partner for our brand.

We know some of life’s most cherished memories happen with loved ones over food and drinks, so we’re joining forces with Kelsey to help make these special occasions even more memorable for our fans. Over the past several months, Kelsey and I have combined our experience and passion for cooking to develop custom recipes that feature the bold flavors of Yuengling’s iconic beers, including Yuengling Traditional Lager, Golden Pilsner and Oktoberfest. We’re excited to not only show how Yuengling beer pairs well with food, but also how it is a versatile, quality ingredient that can elevate everyday dishes. Most importantly, we can’t wait for our fans to try our delicious recipes during their own special occasions with family and friends, from intimate dinners at home to legendary parties for the Big Game.
